The payment of Bonus Act, 1965 come into force on 26th September 1965. Any law does not define the term Bonus. It is considered as an extra payment given to an employee. It is also based on the principal that when an establishment makes profit through the hard labour of its employees, justice demand that it should share part of such profit with the employees who contributed in its generation.
