An Act to provide for certain benefits to employees in case of Sickness, Maternity and Employment injury and to make provision for certain other matters in relation thereto.

This Act applies to all factories other than seasonal factories using power and employing ten or more persons and to non-power manufacturing units and establishments employing 20 or more eligible employees for wages.

(1) Preparation and submission of monthly ESI contribution in the prescribed challans.

(2) Preparation and submission of declaration forms in form 1.

(3) Preparation and submission of form 3.

(4) Preparation and submission of Half Yearly Returns in form 6.

(5) Preparation & Maintenance of register of employees (Regulation 32).

(6) Preparation & Maintenance of Accident Book of employees.
